The local people then complained to the police that Rs.100/- was collected for providing MGNREGA work and they didn’t provide the work, in this way the Sangathan cheated the people. After the complaint the local police called up the team members of Sonbhadra Vikas Sangathan in the police station. The investigation was done by the police, they enquired about the matter and found out that the money is safe in the bank account. And the documents of the Sangathan was also checked. The investigation was done infront of the villagers and they got assured the Sangathan is working for the public welfare. It was also found out that the local people misguided the villagers. At last the police appreciated the work of Sangathan.

In Tola Harijan and Musahar basti from March,2015 the process of Sangathan was started. Within 1st week of 17thApril villagers from Harijan Community got inspiration from the ideology and process of Sangathan and hence, took membership in Sangathan. But in the next month May,2015 local people of Harijan community misguided the people against the Sangathan and its membership.
Then in the meeting of Sangathan it was found out that there is a problem of drainage system in the village. There was blockage of roads and the dirty water spreaded in the houses of the village. Due to this problem the villagers suffered from the diseases. Then proper planning was done in the Sangathan and requested the Gram Pradhan for the solution of the problem. But the Gram Pradhan did not take any action. So, the members decided to meet the BDO and submit the demand of complaint with the signature of approx.100 villagers. Then BDO took action immediately and approved the budget for construction of drainage system. Therefore, at present the work is in process.

Case Study On Drinking Water As An Issue
Every year during summer the people were facing drinking water problem i.e. from April to May. The ground level water decreased and the ponds also dried. Then a Jansathi of Sonbhadra Vikas Sangathan conducted a meeting in the different Panchayats. During the meeting the drinking water problem was raised.
